Dovida is seeking caring home-care professionals to support older Australians in Penrith, NSW. You will help with daily living, meal prep and companionship, travelling between visits with a car you provide. Expect flexible schedules and a supportive team that backs you up 24/7.

Required are a current Australian driver's licence, working rights, and an age/aged care qualification (Cert IV or similar). Training and career growth through Dovida Academies are provided.

Qualificações

• Hold a current Australian driver's licence with access to a reliable car and comprehensive insurance.
• Be available to work at least three weekdays (Mon-Fri) starting from 7am.
• Hold valid Australian working rights and be willing to complete a National Police Check.
• Certificate in Individual Support (Ageing) or related qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily living with personal care, meal preparation and household tasks.
• Offer reliable transport and friendly company for trips to appointments, groceries and social outings.
• Build relationships by listening and sharing clients' life stories.
• Communicate updates to Care Managers to keep support meaningful.

What you’ll bring

You are compassionate, patient and easy to talk to, with a real love for connecting with people from all backgrounds. You’re dependent and an open communicator, and you treat your clients the way you’d want your own family to be treated.

To thrive in this role, you will:

Live in or near Penrith, Springwood and St Mary's and be happy to travel between clients in your local area.

Hold a current Australian driver’s licence, with access to a reliable car and comprehensive insurance.

Be available to work at least three weekdays (Monday to Friday), starting from 7am.

Have a reliable smartphone and laptop/tablet.

Hold valid Australian working rights and be willing to complete a National Police Check.

It’s not essential, but it would be wonderful if you also have:

A Certificate in Individual Support (Ageing) or a related qualification.

Lived experience caring for a family member or friend.

A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
