Job summary

Dovida is seeking compassionate caregivers to support clients in the Nowra area, providing daily living assistance, meal prep and personal care. Travel between visits is required, with a reliable car and valid Australian working rights.

You will build meaningful relationships with clients, share wellbeing observations with Care Managers, and participate in paid training through Dovida Academies. A friendly local office team backs you with 24/7 support.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Australian driver's licence and have access to a reliable car.
• Be available to work at least 3 weekdays (Mon-Fri).
• Hold valid Australian working rights and be willing to complete a National Police Check.
• Certificate in Individual Support (Ageing) or related qualification is desirable.

What you'll bring

You are compassionate, patient and easy to talk to, with a real love for connecting with people from all backgrounds. You're dependable and an open communicator, and you treat your clients the way you'd want your own family to be treated.

To thrive in this role, you will:

• Live in or near Nowra, Southern Highlands and Sanctuary Point and be happy to travel between clients in your local area.
• Hold a current Australian driver's licence, with access to a reliable car and comprehensive insurance.
• Be available to work at least 3 weekdays (Monday to Friday). More availability makes it easier to match you with clients.
• Have a reliable smartphone and laptop/tablet.
• Hold valid Australian working rights and be willing to complete a National Police Check.

It's not essential, but it would be wonderful if you also have:

• A Certificate in Individual Support (Ageing) or a related qualification.
• Lived experience caring for a family member or friend.
• A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
