Job summary

PresCare Yaralla Place in Maryborough, QLD, seeks a Residential Service Manager to lead a 96-resident aged care service. You’ll guide a close-knit team, ensuring safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care while driving enhancements in governance, safety and outcomes.

You’ll balance care with compliance and commercial goals, develop the team, manage staffing and budgets, and build strong relationships with residents, families and professionals in the community.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ management experience in Residential Aged Care.
• Ability to balance care, compliance and commercial outcomes.
• Strong leadership to support, develop and inspire your team.
• Understanding of HR and recruitment processes; handle staff concerns and issues.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire and develop a committed care team and foster a positive workplace culture.
• Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring high-quality, person-centred care and positive resident experience.
• Drive a culture of respect, safety and continuous improvement across the service.
• Lead care governance, quality and compliance with legislative aged care standards and organisational expectations.
• Support workforce planning and recruitment to ensure appropriate staffing.
• Manage financial performance and operational efficiency including budgets and resources.
• Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, health professionals and the community.
• Utilise data and feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and drive outcomes across the service.
