Job summary

Collarcare is searching for passionate Personal Care Workers to work in Aged Care Facilities throughout Regional Victoria. You will assist residents with daily living, document conditions, and support medication administration, while maintaining infection control and collaborating with the care team to ensure holistic, high-quality care.

We value a relationship-based approach to care, with emphasis on consistency in client services and stable employer support.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is required.
• COVID vaccination (including booster) is required.
• 3 months minimum experience in an Australian aged care facility.
• Current Police Check and NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain them.
• Valid work rights.
• Current CPR & First Aid.
• NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assisting residents with daily living including personal care and grooming.
• Documenting residents' condition and assisting with medications.
• Assisting with meals and monitoring nutrition.
• Infection control and prevention.
• Assisting the registered nurse to deliver holistic care.
• Assisting in admission and easing transitions for residents and families.
• Liaising with residents, families, doctors and allied health.
• Acting in accordance with aged care standards on every shift.
