Job summary

Collarcare Group is seeking passionate Personal Care Workers to support residents in aged care facilities across the Mid North Coast region of NSW. You will provide personal care, grooming and emotional support to residents, while working closely with nursing staff.

We value a relationship-based approach to care, aim for consistency in service, and support workers to thrive with a collaborative team. Applicants should have Certificate III and vaccination, and be able to comply with aged care

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is required.
• COVID-19 vaccination including booster is required.
• Minimum 3 months experience in Australian aged care facility.
• Current Police Check, NDIS Clearance, and willingness to obtain if needed.
• Valid work rights and CPR & First Aid certification.
• NDIS Worker Screening or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living, personal care, grooming and emotional support.
• Document residents' condition and support medication administration.
• Assist with meals and monitor nutrition.
• Maintain infection control and prevention.
• Support the registered nurse and ensure a holistic model of care.
• Assist in admissions and easing transitions for residents and families.
• Liaise with residents, family, doctors and allied health.
• Act in accordance with aged care standards on every shift.
