Job summary

Summit Health Solutions Australia Pty Ltd in Canberra seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day performance across service delivery, workforce and partnerships. You will drive service quality, workforce capacity and financial visibility while upholding compassionate, person-centred care.

The role reports to the Directors and balances big-picture strategy with hands-on execution, ensuring governance and compliance are maintained as the business grows.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in operational or service-management in aged care, community health, allied health, home care or a comparable regulated environment.
• At least three years' people-leadership experience, including responsibility for team performance, development and accountability.
• Satisfactory National Police Check and Working with Vulnerable People registration (or ability to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational performance across service delivery, workforce, client experience, systems and business infrastructure.
• Team leadership, role clarity, accountability, workforce planning and performance follow-through.
• Maintain trusted relationships with clients, families, Care Managers, aged-care providers and referral partners.
• Sustainable service growth by aligning referral demand with workforce and delivery capacity.
• Operational and financial performance, including revenue, workforce cost, utilisation, productivity and service variance.
• Quality, complaints, incidents, compliance, risk and continuous improvement.
• Efficient workflows, effective business systems and fit-for-purpose operational infrastructure.
• Clear reporting to the Directors, supported by relevant facts, risks and recommended actions.
• Operational implementation of new services, growth priorities and Summit’s continued development in aged care.
