Job summary

Prime Recruitment, partnering with a well-established aged care provider in Wembley, seeks a hands-on Maintenance Officer/Handyman. General maintenance across the facility, minor repairs, equipment upkeep, garden work, and light duties from 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

This role offers meaningful, day-to-day work, no weekend shifts, and a supportive environment. You will interact with elderly residents, perform logs in Word, and require a valid driver's licence and National Police Clearance

Qualifications

• Previous general maintenance or handyman experience.
• Friendly, respectful and professional manner.
• Comfortable interacting with elderly residents.
• Good time management and ability to work independently.
• Basic Microsoft Word skills.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance across the facility, including minor repairs, equipment maintenance, garden upkeep and changing light bulbs.
• Repairing equipment such as hospital beds and attending to general facility repairs.
• Keeping the site clean, safe and well maintained.
• Completing maintenance logs and reports using Microsoft Word.
• 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday - flexible hours.
