Job summary

Estia Health Knoxfield is hiring an experienced Food Services Assistant on a Permanent Part Time or Casual basis. You will wake up each morning with a shared passion for delivering enjoyable meals to residents and supporting their wellbeing.

Typical daily tasks include food preparation, dishwashing, assisting with menu changes in collaboration with residents and team members, and maintaining Food Safety records while staying active on your feet throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen work (aged care is a bonus).
• Great time management and planning skills.
• Completed the Basic Food Handling Course.

Responsibilities

• Prepping food and drink.
• Cleaning (including dishes).
• Changing up the menu with our team and residents.
• Keeping records as part of our Food Safety Program.
• Being active and on your feet for most of your shift.
