Job summary

Access Aged Care is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to provide on-site care within Residential Aged Care Homes across the Sunshine Coast. This role offers weekday hours only, with no after-hours, weekends or on-call requirements.

You will conduct regular weekly rounds, care for a consistent resident cohort, and work with an Access Aged Care Nurse to coordinate plans and follow-up care, supported by telehealth geriatrics and specialists.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA General Practitioner registration.
• RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship required (or nearing completion).
• Availability 1-4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site weekly rounds in Residential Aged Care Homes across the Sunshine Coast.
• Coordinate care plans with nurses and homes; streamline follow-up care.
• Collaborate with telehealth geriatricians and specialists for complex cases.
