Access Aged Care in Australia is seeking General Practitioners to provide on-site care within Residential Aged Care Homes across Ingham and surrounding regions. This role offers weekday hours only, with no after-hours or on-call requirements, and includes dedicated nursing support to coordinate rounds and follow-up care.

You will deliver proactive, relationship-based care to a consistent cohort of residents, supported by telehealth geriatricians and specialists for complex decisions, while

Formación

• Current AHPRA Specialist Registration as a General Practitioner.
• RACGP or ACRRM Fellowship required (or nearing completion).
• Availability of 1 day per week initially, with opportunity to increase.
• Comfortable with technology, including system-based reporting and common clinical software.
• A personal laptop is required to perform the duties of this role.

Responsabilidades

• Provide on-site GP care within Residential Aged Care Homes.
• Deliver proactive, relationship-based resident care and build long-term clinical relationships.
• Coordinate care plans, investigations and communication with homes.
• Work with an Access Aged Care Nurse for rounds and follow-up care.
• Utilize telehealth geriatricians and specialists for complex clinical decisions.
