Job summary

Flex People Group is seeking a General Manager / Residential Manager for a mid-size Residential Aged Care facility in Sydney’s western suburbs. The role leads an award-winning team with a strong focus on patient-centred care and community engagement.

The successful candidate will be RN qualified (AHPRA) with demonstrated leadership of multidisciplinary teams, and will drive strategy, governance, and continuous improvement across the service. An excellent remuneration package is on offer.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and Management/Commerce or relevant field.
• Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration.
• Proven leadership experience leading a multi-disciplinary team in aged care.
• Advanced business acumen with ability to interpret financial and performance data.

Responsibilities

• Leading and empowering the team to embed a patient-centric care culture.
• Develop and deliver the organisational strategy with the executive leadership team.
• Oversee governance across policies, systems, risk, assets and workforce management.
• Foster staff development and knowledge sharing to be the industry’s best.
• Plan and deliver safety outcomes prioritising patients, staff and community safety.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement across services and programs.
• Oversee collection and analysis of Residential Aged Care KPIs.
• Collaborate with Quality Management Team to enhance quality systems and meet standards.
• Participate in strategic, business and budget planning for Residential Aged Care.
