Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group in Bribie Island is seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality meals to our residents and support the Chef with daily kitchen duties. You will plan, prepare, and present nutritious dishes in a busy aged-care setting.

The role requires a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and at least one year in a commercial kitchen, with bulk cooking and texture-modified meal experience preferred. You will join a team that values safety, quality, and resident well-being.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• At least 1 year in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital preferred).
• Bulk cooking experience (highly desirable).
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals (advantageous).
• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Chef and work collaboratively within the kitchen team.
• Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced, and nutritious meals for residents.
• Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control.
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
• Ensure all food is prepared, cooked, and served in compliance with relevant legislation and food safety standards.
