Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a dedicated Cook to deliver high-quality meals to residents at Heritage Lodge in Murwillumbah. You will support the Chef with kitchen duties, plan and present nutritious meals, and ensure food safety compliance in a full-time role with a guaranteed minimum of 38 hours per week.

We look for a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and at least one year of experience in a commercial kitchen. Bulk cooking and texture-modified meals experience are highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Must hold Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher.
• Minimum of one year’s experience in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital experience preferred).
• Bulk cooking experience is highly desirable.
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and present delicious, well-balanced meals for residents.
• Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties and stock control.
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
• Ensure all food is prepared, cooked and served in compliance with food safety standards and legislation.
