Job summary

Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to lead clinical services in our Newcastle aged care service. You will develop, deliver and evaluate resident care plans, conduct clinical assessments, and liaise with medical teams and families to advocate for residents' quality of life.

You will supervise Personal Care Workers and apply holistic care with strong clinical decision-making. Graduate transitions and ongoing development are supported within our caring community.

Qualifications

• Must hold a nursing degree with current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in aged or community care is preferred.
• Demonstrated adaptability, empathy and strong time-management aligned with Uniting values.
• Ability to lead clinical services and develop resident care plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and evaluation of resident care plans.
• Provide clinical services and assessments.
• Liaise with medical and allied health professionals and families to advocate for residents.
• Supervise Personal Care Workers.
• Practice holistically using critical decision-making to lead the team.
• Participate in Graduate Nurse Transition to Practice programs.
