Job summary

Churches of Christ | Bribie Island Aged Care in Bongaree, QLD is seeking an organised Administration Officer to join our Bribie Island team. This part-time role (60 hours per fortnight) offers school-friendly hours from 9am to 3pm to help balance work and family commitments.

From welcoming residents and families to coordinating staff rosters and supporting day-to-day administration, you’ll help keep our service running smoothly, working closely with the leadership team with a friendly,

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Business or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least two years’ experience in administration or business support.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain staff rosters, coordinate vacant shift coverage and generate scheduling reports.
• Support staff onboarding and maintain training, registration and compliance records.
• Coordinate resident admission, transfer and discharge documentation and system updates.
• Manage inquiries and waitlists, arrange site tours and provide fee information.
• Respond to enquiries from residents, families, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Organise meetings, appointments and training, including agendas and minutes.
• Assist with accounts payable, receipting, banking, and records management.
