Job summary

Kirinari Community Services offers casual in-home care roles in Port Macquarie, focusing on well-being, independence and client-centred support. Shifts cover daytime hours and include personal care, domestic tasks, shopping and social activities.

Qualification in health-related field preferred (Certificate III), First Aid/CPR, and NDIS screening required or obtainable. Valid driver’s license and car insurance are necessary; applications close 3 October 2026.

• Available for shifts across Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.
• Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work – Mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning.
• Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship.
• Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
• Current Driver's Licence and full comprehensive car insurance (or willingness to obtain).

Our Port Macquarie team have casual opportunity available for a qualified Aged and Home Care Worker.

About the Position

Our Kirinari Healthy Ageing services deliver quality in-home care supporting our customers to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.

A typical day assisting our customers to live their best lives may include:

• Assistance with personal care
• Domestic assistance
• Assisted shopping/client appointments
• Respite care
• Meal preparation
• Social support and community engagement

Shifts will vary in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. (km’s travelled between customers also claimable)

About You:

• Available for shifts across Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm
• Studying or completed a minimum Certificate III in a health-related industry (Individual Support, Aged Care , Nursing etc.)
• Qualification in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain
• Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work – Mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning
• Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
• Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
• Current Driver's License
• Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
