Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in Batemans Bay is seeking a casual Aged and Home Care Worker to support clients at home with personal care, domestic tasks and social activities. Shifts are flexible and local, with travel between clients and paid time for travel where possible.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in a health-related field and first aid/CPR, with a valid driver's license. NDIS screen checks and insurance are prerequisites; join a supportive team dedicated to wellbeing and

  Our Batemans Bayteam have casual opportunity available for a qualified Aged and Home Care Worker.

  About the Position

  Our Kirinari Healthy Ageing services deliver quality in-home care supporting our customers to maintain well-being and independence in their own surroundings for as long as possible.
  

  A typical day assisting our customers to live their best lives may include:

  • Assistance with personal care
  • Domestic assistance
  • Assisted shopping/client appointments
  • Respite care
  • Meal preparation
  • Social support and community engagement

  Shifts will vary in duration with paid travel time between customers in a localised area, where possible. (km’s travelled between customers also claimable)

  About You:

  • Available for shifts across Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm
  • Studying or completed a minimum Certificate III in a health-related industry (Individual Support, Aged Care, Nursing etc.)
  • Qualification in First Aid and CPR or willing to obtain
  • Willingness to get physical and help with domestic work – Mopping, vacuuming, washing, general cleaning
  • Genuine desire and ability to connect and develop a meaningful relationship
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Current Driver's License
  • Full Comprehensive Car Insurance, or willing to obtain
