Job summary

Straightload Transport is seeking a reliable and organized individual to support its busy transport operations on the afternoon shift. The casual role starts at 3:00pm from Monday to Friday, with finishing times varying by operational needs.

You will ensure paperwork is prepared accurately and drivers have the necessary documentation to complete their jobs. No prior transport experience is required as full training is provided and a positive attitude is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude.
• Good computer skills and ability to use standard office software.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and stay organised.
• Willing to learn and take direction, with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare transport manifests, run sheets and driver paperwork.
• Assist operations with daily administrative tasks.
• Prepare delivery and collection documentation.
• Enter and update job details in transport systems.
• Process consignment notes and PODs.
• Answer phone calls and emails related to bookings and inquiries.
• Assist customers and drivers with information.
• General data entry, filing and office administration.
• Provide additional support to the operations team as required.
