Job summary

Sharp & Carter is a leading construction business in Australia, specialising in insurance reinstatement and large-loss projects across residential and commercial properties. This role coordinates building compliance, subcontractor documentation and insurance requirements while supporting project cost tracking, WIP reporting and month-end accruals.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, contract administration or project coordination within building, construction or insurance.
• Strong financial awareness and experience with costings, WIP reporting and accruals.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain registers and documentation across multiple projects.
• Proven communication skills and ability to follow up stakeholders to resolve items.
• Proficient with Excel, Office and SharePoint for reporting and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Build compliance: monitor insurance, permits, contracts and documentation across active projects.
• Project and cost tracking: maintain trackers, support monthly WIP, monitor variations and cost-to-complete forecasts.
• WHS and site compliance: ensure safety docs (SWMS, inductions) are current and follow up inspections.
• Subcontractor management: maintain licensing and insurance records and renewals.
• Reporting and risk management: maintain central registers, track actions and provide regular management reporting.
