Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide clinical care and support for residents, aiming to promote independence and wellbeing across our aged care facilities. You will monitor residents, participate in clinical decision-making, and build therapeutic, caring relationships within the health team.

Qualifications include AHPRA registration, 12 months RN in-charge experience, and readiness for NDIS Worker Screen and National Police check.

About The Role

As a Registered Nurse, you’ll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents, assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are supported.These include:

• Providing and monitoring the care of residents
• Using a systematic approach to clinical decision-making
• Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
• Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes
• Participating in the development of a supportive environment with the team

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful, you will have:

• Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse in-charge
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• NDIS Workers Screen and or a National Police check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
• Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth

Shift Schedule

• Week 1 Monday 15:00 - 22:15
• Week 1 Thursday 22:00 - 07:15
• Week 2 Monday 15:00 - 22:15

Location

Charlesbrook, a 70-bed residential aged care facility located near the surrounds of Templestowe. Charlesbrook is in close proximity to major shopping centres, Birrarung and Westerfolds Parks, with access to major public transport routes.
