Job summary

St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Educator for after-hours duties in the Emergency Department. You will design, deliver and evaluate education programs for ED nurses and support staff, collaborating with clinical leaders to promote safe, evidence-based practice.

This role offers a seven-day roster, opportunities for professional development, and a pathway for career advancement within a renowned public hospital precinct in Darlinghurst.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (AHPRA) – essential.
• Education or clinical teaching qualification – essential.
• Experience in aged care or adult education – highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver clinical education programs for nursing and care staff.
• Facilitate onboarding and orientation of new staff.
• Review and update competency assessments.
• Support implementation of new clinical policies, procedures and quality initiatives.
• Promote lifelong learning and evidence-based practice.
