Job summary
Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking an experienced After-Hours Clinical Nurse Educator in Taree to lead clinical education for nursing staff, identify learning needs and deliver evidence-based programs. You will mentor nurses, coordinate Basic and Advanced Life Support training and assess competencies across rotating after-hours shifts.

Qualifications
- Experience delivering clinical education using adult learning principles.
- Ability to identify learning needs and develop education strategies.
- Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate clinical education, orientation and ongoing professional development for nursing staff.
- Identify learning needs and develop engaging, evidence-based education programs.
- Mentor and support nurses to build confidence and safe practice.
- Coordinate and deliver Basic and Advanced Life Support training.
- Undertake competency assessments and evaluate education initiatives.
- Support Clinical Emergency Response System and Rapid Response team.
- Collaborate with leaders to improve care quality and patient outcomes.
