Job summary

Safran Electronics & Defense, IDD Aerospace, is seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to manage ITAR/EAR compliance and global import/export controls. You will prepare licenses, classify goods, and ensure proper documentation across borders.

The role reports to the Director of Governance & Compliance and involves collaboration with sales, engineering, and logistics teams. International travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Intl Relations, Supply Chain or related field.
• 5+ years' experience in compliance, logistics, or international trade.
• Aerospace/defense or advanced manufacturing background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop export compliance program and records.
• Review export docs, licenses, and agreements for regulatory compliance.
• Prepare export licenses and filings; perform classification determinations.
• Coordinate with sales, shipping, and engineering to ensure compliance.
• Support CBP Entry/Immediate Delivery and other imports.
