Job summary

Amazon Leo seeks skilled technicians for full-scale production of Leo satellites. You will assemble and test LRUs and aerospace components, follow strict safety and process instructions, and contribute to continuous improvements in a fast-paced, high-reliability environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment or relevant trade school certification.
• 1+ years using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that validate the system.
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Assemble and test LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other aerospace builds with attention to detail.
• Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory.
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet company deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance.
• Champion safety requirements in all zones and work locations.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries.
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
