Job summary

Amazon Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite network. We are seeking technicians to support full-scale production of Leo satellites, focusing on high-quality, reliable manufacturing of LRUs and aerospace assemblies.

You will follow strict work instructions, assemble and test complex parts, and contribute to process improvements while maintaining safety standards across lab and production environments.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in a high traceability manufacturing environment or relevant trade school certification.
• 1+ years using hand tools and/or precision measuring instruments such as calipers, multi-meters, torque wrenches.
• 1+ years working with test tools and test methods that validate systems.
• Experience reading, interpreting and working from engineering documentation/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions and safety procedures.
• Assemble and test LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, avionics, or other complex aerospace builds with attention to detail.
• Participate in process improvements and maintain floor stock inventory.
• Independently execute and prioritize work to meet deliverables.
• Execute test procedures for component and system level testing.
• Champion safety requirements in all zones and locations.
• Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Support preventative maintenance on test equipment and data acquisition systems.
• Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries.
• Contribute to improving SOPs and safety procedures.
