Amazon Leo is seeking a Tooling Engineer to support tool development from R&D to production for satellite assembly and testing. You will design and implement tooling, convert needs into practical solutions, and manage project timelines and costs in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include leading tool development, overseeing fabrication and qualification, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure cost-effective, high-quality tooling for manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 4+ years of mechanical engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of project management, including resource planning and scheduling.
• 3+ years of CAD design with 3D modeling, drawings, and GD&T.
• 1+ years of structural analysis including hand calculations and FEA.
