Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking an experienced Account Manager to support and grow our Aerospace business in the ANZ region, including the South Pacific. This field-based role can be based in greater Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane, with other locations considered.

You will manage strategic customer relationships, drive revenue growth, and act as a trusted partner to airlines, MROs, OEMs, and aerospace service providers. Report to the Sales Director and work with technical teams to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in aerospace sales, account management, or business development.
• Experience with aerospace chemicals, specialty materials, consumables, coatings, lubricants, or maintenance products.
• Proven ability to drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.
• Understanding of aerospace regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of customer maintenance practices and product approvals.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic account plans to achieve revenue and margin targets.
• Grow sales within existing aerospace accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Manage relationships with airlines, MROs, OEMs, distributors, and aerospace service providers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews to strengthen partnerships and uncover growth opportunities.
• Support customer engagement throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity identification to contract implementation.
• Leverage existing relationships with major commercial airlines and MRO organisations across Australia.
• Develop executive-level relationships with procurement, engineering, maintenance, quality, and operations leaders.
• Represent us at aerospace industry events, trade shows, and customer forums.
• Promote aerospace-approved chemical solutions and specialty products to support maintenance and operational requirements.
• Collaborate with technical service teams to provide product recommendations and solve customer challenges.
