Job summary

Raytheon Australia in Williamtown is seeking a motivated Program Support Coordinator to join the Advanced Training and Test Environment team. You will help manage the ATTE program and assist in delivering critical Defence capabilities.

The role requires coordinating documents, governance, and risk workshops, with a focus on collaboration across Defence and internal teams. A Certificate IV and at least five years in a similar role are preferred, including security clearance readiness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a project coordination role.
• Experience in Defence or technology-oriented environments is preferred.
• Experience coordinating Defence Capability projects in CASG or Defence HQ is advantageous.
• Proven ability to organise, prioritise, and schedule work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a requirement or the ability to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain initial project documents for change requests in the ATTE program.
• Support governance meetings as secretary, coordinate submissions, record actions.

Right now, we are experiencing exciting growth and are seeking a motivated and experienced Program Support Coordinator to join our Advanced Training and Test Environment team based at our Williamtown location.

This role will be working as part of a team, responsible for managing the Advanced Training and Test Environment (ATTE), delivering Defence a critical capability to support all services in the Defence Force.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain initial project documents (proposal of change, analysis of change and initial planning documents) for change requests in the ATTE program.
• Support a series of governance meetings, acting as the secretariat to help coordinate submissions for those meetings, recording actions and following up to ensure timely completion.
• Work with Defence to ensure good record keeping of all program data and effective support for timely submission of program deliverables.
• Attending and support workshops on risk and opportunities management
• Review of strategy for sub-projects
• Reporting on progress
• Championing continuous improvement activities.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Certificate IV qualified in business administration, leadership and/or project management disciplines or equivalent experience.
• Ideally a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project coordination role, preferably in Defence or a technology-oriented environment.
• Experience in the coordination of Defence Capability projects or products in a CASG System Program Office or Defence formation headquarters environment would be looked on favourably.
• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams, helping to organise, prioritise, and schedule work assignments.
• Currently holding or ability to acquire Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a requirement for this role.
