Job summary

Raytheon Australia is seeking a motivated Program Support Coordinator to join the Advanced Training and Test Environment team at Williamtown. You will help manage the ATTE program, develop documents and support governance processes to deliver key defence capabilities.

You'll work in a hybrid role, collaborating with Defence and cross-functional teams to ensure timely program deliverables and continuous improvement, and you may need Negative Vetting 1 clearance.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in business administration, leadership or project management disciplines or equivalent experience.
• Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience in a project coordination role, preferably in Defence or a technology-oriented environment.
• Currently holding or ability to acquire Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a requirement for this role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain initial project documents for change requests in the ATTE program.
• Support governance meetings as secretariat, recording actions and tracking follow-up.
• Ensure good record keeping of program data and timely submission of deliverables.
• Attend and support workshops on risk and opportunities management.

This role will be working as part of a team, responsible for managing the Advanced Training and Test Environment (ATTE), delivering Defence a critical capability to support all services in the Defence Force.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain initial project documents (proposal of change, analysis of change and initial planning documents) for change requests in the ATTE program.
• Support a series of governance meetings, acting as the secretariat to help coordinate submissions for those meetings, recording actions and following up to ensure timely completion.
• Work with Defence to ensure good record keeping of all program data and effective support for timely submission of program deliverables.
• Attending and support workshops on risk and opportunities management
• Review of strategy for sub-projects
• Reporting on progress
• Championing continuous improvement activities.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Certificate IV qualified in business administration, leadership and/or project management disciplines or equivalent experience.
• Ideally a minimum of 5 years' experience in a project coordination role, preferably in Defence or a technology-oriented environment.
• Experience in the coordination of Defence Capability projects or products in a CASG System Program Office or Defence formation headquarters environment would be looked on favourably.
• Proven experience working in multidisciplinary teams, helping to organise, prioritise, and schedule work assignments.
• Currently holding or ability to acquire Negative Vetting 1 security clearance is a requirement for this role.
