Big Wheels Truck Alignment · Crestmead, Logan QLD
Full time · Permanent · Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm
$70,000 – $90,000 + super, based on experience
Two jobs’ worth of variety, one desk
Big Wheels Truck Alignment is Australia’s heavy-vehicle wheel alignment network — 17 workshops across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia, looking after prime movers, trailers and commercial fleets.
Our Logan workshop and our national head office share one building in Crestmead, and this role works across both. You’ll be the front-of-house face of the workshop and the administrator for the head office team. The two sides overlap through the day, so you won’t be switching desks or sites — you’ll be the person who keeps the whole building running.
If you like being the person who keeps a busy place organised, and you’d rather talk to truck drivers and fleet managers than sit in silence all day, this will suit you.
What you’ll do
For the Logan workshop — front desk
Greet customers and answer the phone; you are the first impression of the store
Take bookings using our booking script, and manage the workshop diary
Open, update and close job cards in MechanicDesk, our workshop system
Prepare quotes and invoices, take payments, and follow up outstanding quotes
Obtain customer approvals and purchase orders before work starts
Hand vehicles back with the customer’s alignment report
Order parts and keep the reception and waiting area presentable
For head office — network administration
Process national account and dealer program invoices from our stores
Maintain registers, lists and documents on Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
Collate monthly store reports from across the network
Accounts support in MYOB: data entry, debtor follow-up and reconciliations
General support to the CEO and head office team: correspondence, meeting and travel bookings, conference and event coordination
What you’ll need
Experience in an administration, reception or service advisor role
MYOB experience, or a willingness to learn it — we’ll train the right person
A confident, friendly phone manner and good written English
Sound computer skills: Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Teams) and the ability to pick up new systems quickly
Accuracy with numbers and invoicing
The ability to juggle a ringing phone, a customer at the counter and a deadline without dropping any of them
Full working rights in Australia
Well regarded
Experience in an automotive, truck, transport or trade workshop
MechanicDesk or another workshop management system
You don’t need to know trucks. We’ll teach you what an alignment is and how to explain it.

Full time, Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm. No weekends
One site in Crestmead, with on-site parking

A varied role with a small, friendly team, working directly with the CEO
