Job summary

Accelerate Automotive in Coopers Plains, Brisbane, is seeking a motivated person to support the Business Manager with workshop admin, accounts, customer management, and marketing. The role begins as a 6-month contract with potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Hours are Monday to Thursday, 4–5 hours per day, with flexibility to take on more as the business grows. Experience in automotive/trades and familiarity with Xero is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a genuine go-getter, proactive and self-directed.
• Automotive or trades experience is highly desirable, but fast learners will be considered.
• Comfortable with Xero or similar bookkeeping software.
• Some exposure to social media or website content management.
• Willing to grow with the business and take on more responsibilities.

Accelerate Automotive is a specialist European and 4x4 workshop based in Brisbane. We're a passionate, driven team, and we're looking for someone who matches that energy.

About the Role

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting the Business Manager across workshop admin, accounts, customer management, and marketing. No two days are the same - and that's the point.

This role begins as a 6-month contract. As we grow and evolve, so too will this role - and we see the potential for it to become permanent for the right person.

What You'll Be Doing

• Workshop and customer administration
• Accounts support - Xero, reconciliations, invoicing
• Reporting and data preparation
• Social media and website support
• Systems and general admin across MechanicDesk, Monday.com and Podium
• Supporting projects and business improvement as they come up

What We're Looking For

• A genuine go-getter - proactive, self-directed, and always looking for the next thing to improve
• Automotive or trades industry experience is highly desirable, but if you can demonstrate you pick up systems fast and hit the ground running, we want to hear from you
• Comfortable with Xero or similar bookkeeping software
• Some exposure to social media or website content management
• Someone who wants to grow with the business, not just fill a seat
