Join the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) as an Administrative Assistant based at the stunning Booti Booti office within the Hunter Central Coast Branch. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in supporting the teams who help protect and manage some of NSW's most treasured natural and cultural landscapes. In this varied position, you will provide high-quality administrative and customer service support, assisting with office operations, financial processing, records management, meeting coordination, visitor enquiries and stakeholder engagement. You will be at the heart of the branch's day-to-day activities, helping ensure our teams can continue delivering exceptional conservation and visitor outcomes.
Working alongside dedicated NPWS staff, you'll enjoy a unique environment where no two days are the same. From supporting field teams and coordinating branch activities to assisting visitors and community stakeholders, you'll contribute to meaningful work that helps protect NSW's iconic parks and reserves for future generations.
We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused individual who enjoys being organised, working collaboratively and delivering high-quality support services. You'll be someone who thrives in a busy environment, can manage competing priorities, maintains excellent attention to detail and takes pride in providing outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and confidence using a range of computer-based systems will help you succeed in this role.
