Working closely with the Human Resource Manager, this role supports the HR function through organised administration, recruitment assistance, training coordination and employee engagement. You will enjoy a mix of ownership and support tasks (yes to variety!), as we work as a team to support our 350+ staff with enquiries that range from payroll and onboarding to training and development opportunities.
Supporting employees with day-to-day queries and helping create a positive, engaged workplace.
Assisting with recruitment, onboarding and compliance documentation to ensure smooth hiring processes.
Keeping employee records accurate, preparing HR documents and maintaining UKG files.
Coordinating training sessions and helping others upskill as new UKG features roll out.
Staying across employment legislation and assisting with policy updates and wage compliance checks.
Preparing reports, correspondence and presentations, and helping with general office tasks.
Contributing to organisational development projects, including role design and position descriptions.
Providing payroll support through award interpretation and responding to employee enquiries
Assisting with seasonal worker programs (PALM), visa compliance and employee welfare requirements.
You’re organised, detail-focused and comfortable supporting a wide range of HR and administrative tasks. To be successful in this role, you will have experience supporting HR operations and a genuine interest in all things people and process. You love working with people, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy being the person who helps turn ideas and plans into action.
