Job summary

McLean Farms in Hopevale is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our cage-free poultry site. You will maintain cleanliness across amenities, offices, and sheds, supporting staff wellbeing and biosecurity.

This hands-on role requires the ability to work independently or in a team, adapt to farm environments, and contribute to our safety and hygiene standards. Training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining amenities, including toilets, showers, offices, and lunchrooms
• Ensuring consumables are well stocked across facilities

• Cleaning egg rooms and maintaining high hygiene standards
• Cleaning egg towers within sheds and keeping surrounding areas tidy
• Reporting any maintenance or hygiene issues as they arise

McLean Farms is seeking a Cleaner to join our Hopevale Cage Free Farm. This role plays an important part in maintaining high hygiene standards and supporting the day to day operations of our poultry site.

About The Role

This role is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation across site facilities and operational areas. Your work will directly support staff wellbeing, biosecurity, and efficient farm operations.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Cleaning and maintaining amenities, including toilets, showers, offices, and lunchrooms
• Ensuring consumables are well stocked across facilities
• Laundering, drying, and storing company clothing, boots, and PPE
• Cleaning egg rooms and maintaining high hygiene standards
• Cleaning egg towers within sheds and keeping surrounding areas tidy
• Reporting any maintenance or hygiene issues as they arise

About You

• Reliable, organised, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a farm and shed environment
