Job summary

McLean Farms is a family-owned egg producer based in the Darling Downs, Queensland, seeking an Administration Officer (Human Resources) to support the HR function through organised administration, recruitment assistance, training coordination and employee engagement for 350+ staff. You will work closely with the HR Manager to ensure smooth hiring and people processes.

Responsibilities

• Support employees with day-to-day HR queries and maintain a positive workplace.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and compliance documentation.
• Maintain accurate employee records and UKG files.
• Coordinate training sessions and roll out new UKG features.
• Stay informed on employment legislation and policy updates.
• Prepare reports, correspondence and general office tasks.
• Contribute to organisational development projects including role design.
• Provide payroll support through award interpretation and employee enquiries.
• Assist with seasonal worker programs (PALM) and visa compliance.
