Job summary

Palm Lake Care Caloundra is seeking an organised Administration Officer to support the Service Manager with clerical and reception tasks in a casual capacity. The role runs Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, with hours subject to operational needs across the aged care residence.

Responsibilities include rostering, visitor sign-ins, HR administration, and basic accounting tasks. A current National Police Clearance and strong MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Strong administrative skills, with the ability to diligently follow internal systems and processes.
  • Excellent computer literacy across MS Suite & rostering software.
  • Excellent time management skills, able to autonomously balance competing priorities and deadlines.
  • Refined verbal and written communication skills, delivering timely, empathetic responses that create a genuinely personalised experience.

  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all workplace policies and procedures.

We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our dedicated Palm Lake Care Caloundra team. This is a casual role working between Monday to Friday 8am-5pm depending on operational requirements to provide essential clerical and receptionist support to the Service Manager while handling administrative tasks related to the aged care residence.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Service Manager, you'll be instrumental in assisting smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to a welcoming and efficient environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Key duties will include:

Manage rosters and staff scheduling, ensuring timely shift replacements.
