As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an organised and proactive Warehouse, Fleet & Administration Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our Electrical Department.
About the Role
This hands-on, varied role combines warehouse coordination, fleet and asset management, compliance, and administration.
You will play an important part in ensuring our field and project teams have the materials, equipment, vehicles, documentation and support they need to get the job done safely and efficiently.
Reporting to the Electrical Manager, you will be responsible for:
Warehouse & Stock Control
Raise and track purchase orders using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Receive, check and receipt incoming goods
Prepare outgoing freight and associated documentation
Maintain stock levels, storage locations and inventory records
Issue materials to projects and ensure costs are allocated correctly
Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes
Investigate stock variances and manage obsolete or slow-moving stock
Maintain warehouse and workshop housekeeping and organisation
Coordinate servicing, registration, inspections and charging of vehicles and mobile plant
Manage compliance testing for electrical equipment, lifting gear, fire equipment and other assets
Maintain vehicle, asset, equipment, fire and first aid registers
Manage hazardous substance storage and SDS records
Coordinate asset allocation, replacement and disposal activities
Administration & Compliance
Coordinate onboarding for new employees, including systems access, uniforms, equipment and inductions
Manage client site induction requests and contractor management platforms
Coordinate external training and maintain training records and competency matrices
Prepare and maintain SWMS documentation
Maintain on-call rosters and after-hours contact information
Provide administration support including travel, bookings, meetings and department calendars
Manage office consumables and uniforms
Conduct WHS office inspections and maintain compliance documentation
About You
We are looking for someone organised, methodical, and comfortable taking ownership of a broad range of responsibilities.
You will ideally have:
3+ years' experience in warehouse, stores, workshop or fleet administration
Strong organisational and time management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Experience with inventory and stock control
Experience with goods receipting and dispatch
Strong record-keeping and document control skills
The ability to liaise confidently with suppliers, internal teams and client representatives
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint and Teams
The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience within a wholesale electrical, trade or construction environment would be highly regarded, as would familiarity with systems such as MyOsh. A trade qualification is not required.
Qualifications & Licences
Year 12 completion
Current Australian Driver's Licence mandatory
Forklift licence (LF) highly desirable, or willingness to obtain one
Certificate III or IV in Business Administration, Warehousing Operations or Logistics would be advantageous
