Job description

DSQ is an established surveying business with our head office in Warana, Sunshine Coast and regional offices across South East Queensland. We provide surveying and spatial solutions to clients across the resources, infrastructure and construction sectors.

About the role:

We're looking for a full time experienced administrator who enjoys variety, thrives in a busy environment and likes being involved in all aspects of supporting the business.

Working as part of our administration team, no two days look the same, and that's exactly what makes this role rewarding. You'll have the autonomy to manage your workload, the opportunity to take ownership of your responsibilities and the flexibility to grow the role over time based on your strengths and interests.

Your Responsibilities:

Providing day-to-day administrative and business support, including managing customer enquiries and maintaining accurate business records.

Setting up all jobs and quotes in collaboration with Project Managers, ensuring information is accurately recorded

Manage registers and records for office assets, vehicles, and uniforms, including scheduling servicing and maintenance

Coordinating staff travel and accommodation, and assisting with company functions, meetings, minute taking and social events.

Maintain office systems and compliance reporting, including printers, security access, and central equipment registers.

About You

We're proud of our down-to-earth culture where everyone pitches in and supports one another, and that’s exactly who we are looking for, someone who enjoys being busy and takes pride in keeping things organised.

You will also present the following:

Previous experience in a busy administration role within a small to medium-sized business

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities

A proactive attitude and the initiative to problem solve through situations

Outstanding communication, customer service skills and attention to detail

Confidence using Microsoft Office and learning new business systems

Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport

Most importantly, you're happy to jump in wherever needed. You're just as comfortable welcoming visitors at reception as you are preparing reports, organising catering or helping coordinate a company event.

Availability for an immediate start would be amazing, but we will wait for the right candidate!

DSQ is committed to providing equal employment opportunities and fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. We actively encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply.
