We are seeking a capable and detail-focused Administration Assistant – SCISSA and Afterschool Sport to support the Director of Sport and the College Sports Department with the effective administration of SCISSA, Afterschool Sport competitions and programs, and the Junior SCISSA and Years 1–3 Sport Program. This is a Fixed Term, 1 Year Contract, part-time, term-time-only role, commencing in January 2027.
In this role, you will assist with student permissions, staff folders, transport and venue bookings, team logistics, sport records, results, correspondence, promotional material and communication connected with College sport programs. Your work will help ensure staff, students and families have the information and support they need for training, fixtures, competitions and events.
Reporting to the Director of Sport, you will work closely with Sport Coordinators, teaching staff, administration staff, students, parents, volunteers, SCISSA representatives, member schools and external sporting organisations. You will also contribute to strong administrative systems within the Sports Department and help maintain accurate, timely and professional communication across the College. This is a Permanent, Part-time, Term-time role, commencing in January 2027.
You enjoy helping people feel informed, supported and ready to participate. You are organised, approachable and thoughtful in the way you manage details, follow up information and keep day-to-day processes moving.
You are confident coordinating program administration, student permissions, staff documentation, transport and venue arrangements, team logistics and communication within required timeframes. You prepare well, notice the details and can balance competing priorities.
You communicate clearly and professionally with students, parents, staff, volunteers and external stakeholders, and you value positive working relationships across the College community. You bring initiative, sound judgement and practical problem-solving skills, along with confidence using relevant systems and a strong commitment to confidentiality, student safety, privacy and workplace health and safety.
