Job summary

ATS Timber Ltd in Sydney's Northmead area is seeking an Admin Officer with a focus on accounts receivable. This full-time, on-site role includes daily invoicing, payment allocations, account reconciliations and debt collection support.

The successful applicant will have experience in administration or AR, strong attention to detail and professional communication skills. Full training provided; reliable transport to the Northmead office is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts and outstanding debtor balances.
• Follow up overdue accounts and outstanding payments via phone and email.
• Allocate customer payments.
• Process invoices, credit notes and accounts receivable documentation.
• Respond to customer account and invoice enquiries.
• Assist with account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Work closely with Sales to resolve account and payment queries.
• Maintain accurate customer records and assist with debtor reporting.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as required.

The Role

ATS Building Products has a permanent, full-time opportunity for an Admin Officer - Accounts Receivable Focused to join our team in Northmead.

This is a fully on-site position, five days per week, with a key focus on accounts receivable, customer accounts, payment allocation, account reconciliations and following up outstanding payments.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor customer accounts and outstanding debtor balances.

Follow up overdue accounts and outstanding payments via phone and email.

Allocate customer payments.

Process invoices, credit notes and accounts receivable documentation.

Respond to customer account and invoice enquiries.

Assist with account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Work closely Sales to resolve account and payment queries.

Maintain accurate customer records and assist with debtor reporting.

Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as required.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an administration or accounts receivable role.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Confident and professional communication skills.

Strong organisation and time-management skills.

Reliable transport to our Northmead office.

Previous experience in a role involving regular outbound customer calls would be highly regarded
