Tax Administrator | Sydney CBD | $75-$80k+
We are currently seeking a proactive and client-focused Tax Administrator & Client Services professional to join a growing accounting firm in Sydney CBD.
This is a varied role supporting team members across office administration, client communication, workflow coordination, ASIC and ATO matters, corporate compliance, billing and general practice operations.
The successful candidate will be someone who takes ownership, enjoys working with people, has excellent attention to detail and is confident managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a professional accountancy environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend to general office administration, correspondence and day-to-day practice operations.
- Coordinate client work, workflow and scheduling to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and within required deadlines.
- Monitor client lodgement, payment and other key compliance deadlines.
- Liaise professionally with clients, the ATO, ASIC and other external parties.
- Access, review and update information through the ATO and ASIC portals as required.
- Prepare, collate and distribute client documents, financial reports, tax returns and other correspondence.
- Draft and send emails to clients and third parties as required.
- Organise electronic signing and follow up outstanding client information and documentation.
- Assist with client onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Assist with the establishment and registration of new entities, including companies, trusts and SMSFs.
- Download and process annual ASIC company statements and assist with ASIC lodgements and corporate compliance matters.
- Prepare company minutes and assist with other company secretarial requirements.
- Process and assist with lodgements, including tax returns, BAS and IAS.
- Maintain accurate client records, workflow information and documentation across practice management systems.
- Assist Partners and team members with administrative and client-related tasks as required.
- Contribute to improving office processes, systems and overall client service.
