Job summary

NSW Health is recruiting a Registered Nurse to join Ryde Hospital Ward 8 on a permanent part-time basis. The 16-bed ward provides telemetry, stroke and acute medical care in a fast-paced environment, with education and specialised skills development opportunities.

The role requires RN Division 1 registration with AHPRA, strong communication and teamwork abilities, and current clinical knowledge to support quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with AHPRA.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
• Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with patients and the health care team.
• Comply with NSW Health OASV policy requirements and participate in vaccination/screening processes.
