Job summary

Department for Housing and Urban Development (SA) is seeking an Accreditation and Compliance Officer to support the Accredited Professionals Scheme. You will perform regulatory administration, compliance monitoring, and customer service across accreditation management, audits, and complaints.

The role requires handling accreditation records, responding to enquiries, and coordinating documentation with the Audit, Accreditation and Compliance Team, while promoting safe work practices and integrity

Qualifications

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a small team environment.
• Ability to work under pressure with multiple priorities.
• Experience providing membership services, legislative compliance or complaint handling administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for accreditation, audit and complaint enquiries with administrative support for accreditation processes.
• Support regulatory and compliance functions including audits, complaints, investigations, and renewals.
• Prepare and coordinate business documentation, reports, and management reporting.
• Maintain accreditation standards and guidance materials to ensure information is accurate.
