Job summary

Community Services #1 is seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to provide organisation-wide leadership, assurance and practical advice across our community services portfolio. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will coordinate reviews, audits and risk assessments, monitor regulatory changes and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified in compliance, risk, governance or related discipline or substantial equivalent experience.
• Experience coordinating or leading compliance, quality or risk activities in a regulated service environment.
• Ability to interpret legislation, regulatory standards, contracts and funding agreements.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding, privacy, WHS and governance for community services.
• Experience conducting audits and driving corrective action.
• Understanding child safety obligations and reportable conduct.
• Stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Sound professional judgement and risk-based advice.
• Excellent coordination and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist compliance advice and practical support to managers and service teams.
• Conduct and coordinate compliance reviews, audits, investigations and monitoring activities.
• Identify, assess and report on compliance risks, trends and improvement opportunities.
• Monitor changes to legislation, regulatory and accreditation requirements and advise services.
• Coordinate external audits, accreditation reviews and funding compliance activities.
• Develop compliance tools, procedures and education to build organisational capability.
• Monitor and verify corrective actions arising from audits and reviews.
• Prepare high-quality compliance, risk and assurance reports for governance purposes.
• Support a culture of compliance, safeguarding and continuous improvement.
