Horizons West Bus and Coachlines is seeking an Accounts Support Officer on a 6-month fixed-term contract to support core finance operations, with potential to go permanent. You will assist with transactional processing, reconciliations, and reporting in a collaborative team.

The role welcomes junior candidates and graduates with strong Excel and data-entry skills, offering a dynamic environment in a leading transit organisation based in Western Australia.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in a finance or payroll-related role.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient data entry and document control with good stakeholder skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice entry and supplier maintenance.
• Assist payroll and accounts receivable during peak periods.
• Process staff reimbursements, credit notes, and ad-hoc payments.
• Prepare reports, reconciliations, and documents for month-end close.
• Respond to internal/external inquiries and liaise with operational teams to resolve issues.
• Contribute to improvement of finance procedures and controls.
