Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland – Fortitude Valley QLD is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team in Fortitude Valley. You will manage accounts receivable processes, process payments, generate invoices and assist with debt recovery, while maintaining accurate records and providing professional service to internal and external customers.

You will have experience with financial software including AR and GL modules, strong MS Office skills, and a proven ability to handle

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts receivable and general ledger modules.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume processing environment.
• Proven debt collection experience and professional communication.
• Strong computer skills including intermediate Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor accounts receivable processes and administrative requirements.
• Prepare daily banking and journals, and review and reconcile accounts.
• Receipt debtor payments and donations and assist with following up overdue accounts.
• Generate debtor invoices and statements and assist with authorised write-offs and credit notes.
• Maintain direct debit information and process monthly credit card files.
• Assist with debt collection and debt recovery activities for outstanding accounts.
• Respond to debtor enquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
• Maintain effective communication regarding payment disputes, system issues and data errors.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities, including documenting procedures and participating in training.
