Job summary

Go Transit Media Group is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join our finance team in Queensland. The role focuses on credit control and collections across a portfolio of customer accounts, with heavy phone and email communication to secure timely payments.

You will work closely with sales and operations to resolve queries, escalate complex cases, and support month-end activities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable, credit control or collections.
• Confident phone manner and professional communication.
• Strong written communication for customer correspondence.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and data entry accuracy.
• Able to manage high volume emails and calls with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and drive timely collection of invoices.
• Make high volume outbound calls to follow up overdue accounts and respond to queries by phone and email.
• Issue collection correspondence and statements in line with credit control procedures.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve billing disputes with sales support as required.
• Receipt and allocate customer payments and reconcile accounts accurately.
• Monitor aged debtors, prioritise collections and report on debtor days and results.
• Maintain clear records of collection activity and customer communications.
• Escalate problem accounts and refer to external agencies when needed.
• Support month-end processes and assist the wider finance team.
