Job summary

Richard Lloyd Recruitment is assisting an established independent school on Sydney's Lower North Shore to recruit an Accounts Receivable Officer. You will follow up outstanding school fees, negotiate payment arrangements, and build trusting relationships with families while maintaining confidentiality.

You will work with the finance team to prepare debtor reports, liaise with debt recovery agencies when needed, and support broader accounts receivable duties.

Qualifications

• Strong accounts receivable experience, particularly in credit control.
• Experience collecting large individual balances.
• Confident communication skills to negotiate payment obligations.
• A friendly, diligent approach with the confidence to handle challenging conversations.
• Confidence using Excel and computerised accounting systems.
• Discretion and sound judgement when handling confidential financial information.
• Education industry experience will be highly regarded.
