Job summary

dnata catering and retail – Broadbeach QLD is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team. Based at our Head Office in Broadbeach, you will support accurate billing and receivables across an allocated customer ledger, working closely with airline customers, operational teams and internal stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure accounts are accurate and up to date.

• Demonstrated experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role.
• Experience in a high-volume accounts receivable environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and customer-focused approach with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, raise and issue invoices and credit notes accurately and within deadlines.
• Review and validate supporting documentation for accurate billing.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers to achieve accurate invoicing.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and data issues.
• Issue customer statements in line with requirements.
• Monitor ledgers and follow up outstanding items and disputes.
• Prepare weekly reports, account updates and ad hoc analysis.
• Maintain accurate customer account information and records.
• Build positive relationships with airline customers, operational teams and internal Finance stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency and ways of working within Accounts Receivable.

About the Role

Based at our Head Office in Broadbeach, we are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join our Finance team.

In this role, you will play an important part in supporting accurate and timely billing and receivables activities across an allocated customer ledger. You’ll work closely with airline customers, operational teams and internal stakeholders to resolve billing queries, investigate discrepancies and ensure customer accounts are accurate, up to date and well maintained.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare, raise and issue invoices and prepare credit notes accurately and within required deadlines.

• Identify opportunities to improve accuracy, efficiency and ways of working within the Accounts Receivable function

About You
You are an organised and detail-focused Accounts Receivable professional who enjoys working in a busy environment and delivering a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders.

You will bring:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar Accounts Receivable role.
• Experience working in a high-volume accounts receivable environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• A professional and customer-focused approach when dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Full ongoing working rights in Australia and the ability to pass all required pre-employment checks, including a National Police Check and medical assessment.
