Job summary

Talentpath is seeking an experienced aged care finance professional to support billing, credits, refunds and compliance ahead of the New Aged Care Act. You will manage accounts across 26 facilities and around 3,000 residents in a collaborative finance team.

Qualifications

• Previous aged care finance experience is essential.
• Strong understanding of residential aged care billing processes.
• Experience processing RAD, DAP, BDF and other resident charges.
• Strong understanding of credits, refunds, debits and reconciliations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Confident working independently and decision-making.
• Strong communication with residents, families and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential aged care billing and accounts receivable processing.
• Process resident credits, refunds and account reconciliations.
• Complete daily refund processing within deadlines.
• Follow up residents and families to obtain banking and payment info.
• Prepare reports on outstanding credits, balances and reconciliation items.
• Code and allocate aged care charges accurately and efficiently.
• Support compliance and reporting for the New Aged Care Act.
• Provide general finance administration and ad hoc team support.
• Maintain accurate records with high transaction volumes.

An exciting opportunity for an experienced aged care finance professional to join a large and established aged care provider during a critical period of change. Supporting billing, credits, refunds and compliance activities ahead of the New Aged Care Act, you'll play a key role within a collaborative finance team managing accounts across 26 facilities and approximately 3,000 residents.
